Une envie de partager ma passion*
Flair for French is a venture which has started as I realised that practicing a language was never as easy as it could be. Even if you were a French teacher and / or really passionate about languages like me!
My name is Angelique, I am from the Ile-de-France region, 20 minutes by RER D to Paris, and I have been living in the UK for 18 years now.
I am the type of person who absolutely loves languages. I love teaching, practicing and constantly learning from them.

Because this is what is so amazing about languages, they evolve, they never stay still. They constantly like to keep you on your toes.
However, teaching a language is sometimes not enough to retain everything you have experienced or learnt about it. Practice is key.
My fellow MFL teachers know that teaching a language is immensely interesting and rewarding but that it can also become repetitive. This routine tends to not allow for extended chats and / or broadening of their linguists’ skills. While we help students gaining confidence and knowledge, we end up, ourselves, stagnating and sometimes losing skills we had previously gained.
Practice is key whether you teach French, have been living in France or whether you obtained a French diploma many years ago. The level of language you may have achieved then might not be the same today. Your confidence lowers.
I am myself lucky, French is my mother tongue and, I get to practise Spanish more than once a week with close friends who are just as passionate about practicing languages as I am. As for my English, living in England is obviously doing me wonders!
Flair for French aims at nurturing your passion and encouraging you to practise your French skills, with like minded people or, if you prefer, with me in a tutorial whether you are a French teacher, a member of the public who is passionate about la langue de Moliere or even a complete beginner!
Depending on what you are looking for, I invite you to have a look at the CPD and the classes sections to discover what I have to offer you and, pourquoi pas, enroll onto your next French adventure !
A très bientôt je l’espère!
Angélique
