Club de lecture : an exciting way to practise French and your love of reading a good book!

An online book club for people who have a high level of French and would love to read and chat French litterature.

In this Club de Lecture, we dive into the world of a piece of litterature once a month. Each session which takes place on Thursday night and lasts 1h15 each time (5.45pm-7pm) allows us to discuss a chosen book, discuss its themes and its storyline in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere en français.

After registering to a Club de lecture you will receive a list of vocabulary to help you with your reading, a podcast or a video linked to one of the book’s theme (or more depending on the complexity of the book chosen) as well as a list of questions to get you thinking ahead of the online session.

The book is not included in the price.

Until now, we have read many books such as “Au p’tit bonheur la chance” by Aurélie Valognes, “La jeune fille et la nuit” by Guillaume Musso, “La Gloire de mon père” by Marcel Pagnol, “La tresse” by Laetitia Colombani, “Le Pays des autres” by Leila Slimani and “Stupeurs et tremblements” d’Amélie Nothomb.
